Sterile Services
The demands placed on the existing Sterile Services department have outstripped its capacity and the new facility will provide some of the most up to date equipment and sufficient space to accommodate the growth in demand for surgical instrumentation reprocessing that is planned for the Addenbrooke's site.
In addition the department will have capacity to offer a comprehensive service to the local Primary Care Trust and many of the GP Practices within Cambridgeshire and north Hertfordshire.
