About

In April 2005 a new Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) was passed by Parliament, which amends or extends existing provisions in the DDA 1995. Part of this act requires public bodies to promote equality of opportunity for disabled people.

Addenbrooke's Disability Equality Scheme (DES) sets out how the Trust intends to fulfil its general and specific duties under the Act.
