5 April 2007 - 1200 hrs - Deadline for election nominations to be submitted

10 April 2007: Statement of nominated candidates

12 April 2007 - 1200 hrs Deadline for withdrawal of candidates from election

18 April 2007 Notice of uncontested election in the public constituency for the Board of Governor

1 May 2007 - Notice of Poll published - ballot papers dispatched by ERS

9 May 2007 - Meet the Candidates event for staff governor nominations 1200 - 1400 hrs, Entrance to Food Court, Addenbrooke’s

10 May 2007 - Meet the Candidates event for patient and public governor nominations 1800 - 2000 hrs, Centre at St Paul’s, Hills Road, Cambridge

23 May 2007 - 1200 hrs - Closing date for election

24 May 2007 - Election results announced

Nominations

All nomination papers should be received by the Returning Officer, Adrian Wilkins, at Electoral Reform Services Ltd at the address shown below by 12 noon on Thursday 5th April 2007. Faxed or e-mailed nominations will not be accepted.

The Ballot

Ballot papers will be distributed to qualifying members on Tuesday 1st May 2007.

Completed ballot papers must be received by the Independent Scrutineer (Electoral Reform Services Ltd) by Wednesday 23rd May 2007 at 12 noon.

The regulations governing this election can be obtained from the NHS Foundation Trust Membership Office, Box 146, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 OQQ.

If candidates do submit a nomination and then decide to withdraw, this must be done in writing, and witnessed, to the Returning Officer no later than 12 noon on Thursday 12th April 2007.
