The Board of Directors

Members are likely to be familiar with at least some of the Board of Governors – if only by voting for candidates in their annual elections, but members of the Board of Directors may be less familiar. They are responsible for all operational and strategic issues, business and finance and they meet formally once a month.
There are eight executive directors (including the chief executive) who are each responsible for certain aspects of the Trust’s work. Seven non-executive directors (including our chairman), are appointed from our local community to bring their skills and experience to the Board. One further non-executive represents the University.
