Quarterly performance reports keep the Board informed of progress against our organisational objectives by using a scorecard to report on indicators spread over the range of national healthcare standards, and where appropriate risk ratings, to achieve targets.
A monthly operational performance report which goes to the Executive Board identifies areas where improvement is needed to ensure sustainable improvement in patient care and services.
An annual statement of internal control is also prepared (see financial statements) and supports the achievement of the Trust’s policies, aims and objectives. This statement is based on the ongoing risk management process and designed to identify the principal risks to these objectives, evaluate the nature and extent of the risks and to manage the risks efficiently, effectively and economically. |
