About Operational Management |
Thirteen directorates headed by clinical directors are responsible for the delivery of clinical care through 45 service delivery units (SDUs), each with their own SDU director. .

Clinical services |
Nine senior members of staff (associate directors of operations (ADOs) and heads of department) are responsible for the daily running of the hospital working closely with clinical directors, operations managers, SDU managers and senior clinical nurses.
Clinical diagnostic departments and therapy services support clinical services in the delivery of care.

Non-clinical services |
The corporate infrastructure of IT, finance, human resources, estates and facilities, corporate development and management, patient services and administration underpins the business of service delivery.
New roles continue to develop and support the operational structure of the hospital and the improvement of the patient experience.

As the teaching hospital for the University of Cambridge , the Trust is home to academic and research departments. The consultants in these departments also hold honorary contracts with the Trust as part of the hospital’s clinical services for patients.
