About Staff Development ![]() To underpin the Trust’s priority of valuing and supporting our staff and partners, the Learning and Development teams provide a range of training and development opportunities and interventions to enable staff at all levels to develop the competencies required by their roles. This is achieved through accredited programmes, personal skills development and open learning. For aspiring leaders and managers a range of activities are delivered including the Leadership Academy, Leadership Forum, management skills training and facilitated coaching. All the departments within the Learning and Development directorate aim to provide high quality training and advice to all staff, both clinical and non-clinical, ensuring that all staff have the correct skills and knowledge to deliver a high quality service in health and care.
