New multi-storey Car Park

The new multi-storey car park at Addenbrooke’s opened on Friday 18 April, with 770 spaces for patients and visitors.

The new car park is seven storeys high, with 63 disabled parking spaces, security lighting, and more than 50 CCTV cameras. It will be staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with a customer service desk to provide information and concession tickets for outpatients with appointments. The building is fitted with a wind turbine and solar cells to contribute to its energy needs — and a new pedestrian footbridge connects it to the hospital’s main entrance.
