Presentation of award for year's best nurse

This year's Sister Winnie Matchett 1985 St Valentine's Day Award for the best student nurse of 2004 has been presented to Staff Nurse Alison Jeffs. The successful candidate is chosen by Addenbrooke's and the Homerton School of Health Studies (HSHS) for high academic achievement and successful clinical placements throughout training.

Alison was judged the best student nurse qualifying last year. She was outstanding in both academic performance and clinical placement.

Alison was presented with a cup and certificate by the hospital's chairman, Dr Mary Archer.
