PRESS RELEASE: 18 July 2005

Addenbrooke’s Modern Matrons and Governors coming to Littleport – join them and have your say

Last month’s meeting was a real success, so July will see Addenbrooke’s governors out and about in the local community once more. Once again, they will be joined by two Modern Matrons (or Senior Clinical Nurses, as they are known at Addenbrooke’s), meeting members and offering them the opportunity to have their say about the role of the Modern Matron, as well as any other Addenbrooke’s-related matter they may want to discuss.

We’ve been listening to members, some of whom have said that governors should be available at different times of day. So, this time it won’t be an evening meeting and instead they’ll be in Littleport from 1400 – 1530 hrs, so why not drop in for a cup of tea and a quick chat about how you feel the hospital should be developing in the years to come?

The meeting will be taking place on:

• Thursday 21 July, 1400 – 1530 hours
in the Village Hall, Victoria Street, Littleport

The meetings will be open to all members, and those who aren’t members but are interested in finding out more are also welcome to drop in.
