Nursery nurse Janette Clark who works in the hospital's Special Care Baby Unit has come runner-up in the Nurse/Care Worker category of the annual community awards run by the Cambridge Evening News.

Janette helps to organise fundraising events for Premrose, the support group for parents with premature babies who raise funds for NICU (the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).

Speaking about the award, Janette, said: "It's very nice to be nominated. I've accepted it on behalf of the whole of the Premrose group and I would like to say a big thank you from them."
Patsy Glazebrook, Chair of Acorn House, run by the Sick Children's Trust which
provides accommodation for families of children in hospital, including Addenbrooke's,
accepted first prize in the 'Supporting Children' category.
