This month we are celebrating the achievements of staff who have gone 'over and above' for Addenbrooke's. This is the third year of the Over and Above awards – recognising and celebrating everyone's contribution to the running of Addenbrooke's.

Staff across the hospital were asked to nominate teams or individuals who are unsung heroes, have overcome barriers to make a difference or are particularly innovative, friendly or helpful. Staff who are not only working hard on a day-to-day basis, but are going 'over and above' to improve patient care as well as the working environment.

There is no one winner to these awards – their aim is simply to recognise achievement at all levels and to thank staff for their hard work and dedication to delivering an excellent health service here at Addenbrooke's.

We have brought together all the teams and individuals nominated in this special publication to acknowledge their unique contributions to hospital life.
