Chairman of the Trust, Mary Archer, said: "Malcolm has led
the Trust with exceptional vigour and vision over the past three
years, and we are very sorry to be losing him. He has been a driver
for innovation and a leader of reform within both Addenbrooke's
and the wider NHS. He was the chief architect of the Trust’s
successful transition to Foundation status, and has led the first
stages of implementation of our 2020 Vision through the creation
of such major facilities as the Emergency Assessment Unit and the
Elective Care Centre. He has also been at the forefront of our drive
for continuous improvement in clinical service delivery and organisational
structures.
"We wish Malcolm continued success as he embarks on the next
phase of his career in New Zealand."
