Hospitals offer free job workshops

Workshops to provide help in completing high quality job application forms and to help in developing good interview techniques are being offered free of charge by human resource professionals at Papworth and Addenbrooke’s hospitals.

Nicola Van Der Gaag, Employee Services Manager at Papworth Hospital said: “We are inviting anyone interested in working in a hospital to come along and get some really useful tips and ideas on how to be a successful candidate in the very competitive job marketplace. Working in the NHS is not only about being a nurse or a doctor, there are hundreds of other very necessary positions which are vital to the smooth running of a hospital, for example porter, electrician, receptionist, cleaner, administration assistant, to name just a few. If people have a CV already then they can bring that along or if not they need only bring details of any qualifications, training and previous experience.”

The workshops will be held on 19 October at 4.30pm-6.00 pm and 6.30pm-8.00 pm. Trained staff will be on hand to help with every stage of the job application process. To book a place or for further details please contact as follows:
