CB2 2QQ to CB2 0QQ

The post code for Addenbrooke's has recently changed from CB2 2QQ to CB2 0QQ.

The hospital has obtained 'sub-sector' status for the site which means that we have a large future supply of post codes for site expansion. This is important for our future growth.

Why has this happened?

The royal mail were close to running out of available post codes for some Cambridge areas, and if we had not changed they would have struggled to supply additional codes for the future expansion of the campus and surrounding areas.

What happens to the old code?

The old post codes will still work for at least 3 to 5 years and will not be issued to another address.
