One of the main Addenbrooke's access road shut for 6 weeks
This summer the County Council needs to close a section of Long Road (A1134) in Cambridge to all vehicles between Wednesday 18th July and Sunday 2nd September.
The section includes the bridge over the disused railway line.
Cyclists and pedestrians will still be able to use this section of Long Road.

The road will be closed to all vehicles from 00.01am on Wednesday 18th July to 11.59pm on Sunday 2nd September. |

Before the full closure takes place, there will also be some preparatory work in the weeks before the 18th July to ensure that work can commence on time and progress as quickly as possible. This will include some limited tree felling and diverting of gas and water pipes. This will require some temporary lane closures and traffic management in non-peak periods.
