The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman

If you still feel your concerns have not been addressed, you can ask the Ombudsman to investigate your complaint.

The Ombudsman, who is appointed by Parliament and is completely independent from the NHS, will decide whether to investigate your complaint.

The Ombudsman will not usually take on a case that has not been through the NHS complaint procedure (outlined earlier).
