As a general rule at Addenbrooke's, the number of a ward refers to the level (floor) the ward is on, and the letter is the building. Some wards, however, have names, and some wards are in temporary locations while they are being moved or refurbished.

Please call the ward directly for information about visiting times and whether you can take flowers onto the ward.

Flowers: Some inpatients areas have restrictions about flowers - for safety reasons. It is also usually easier if flowers are arranged in OASIS rather than loose in vases.
You can phone straight through to the ward on these numbers.
When sending cards or letters, please write the post box number as well as the patient's name and the ward name on the envelope, as follows: *Name*, Ward **, Box ***, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Hills Rd, Cambridge CB2 0QQ.
