Phlebotomy Service and Blood Test Centre

This service is provided for our outpatient clinics and is situated in the main Outpatients Centre.

General practices have their own phlebotomy service, which should be the first point of call for patients in the community.

We operate a ticketing system in the main Outpatients Centre at Addenbrooke's. Patients present to the Centre, take a ticket and wait to be seen. This service operates during these hours:

Monday to Friday: 0900 to 1700 hrs (it no longer closes for lunch).

Inpatient phlebotomy service
This service operates on most wards at Addenbrooke’s. Monday to Friday: 0700 to 1100 hrs. Ward-based staff request these services.
