About the clinic ![]() The clinic is funded through the Wilson Trust, founded in memory of the Daily Mirror sports writer, Peter Wilson. The Clinic is also supported through University College funds and the NHS. We are very reliant upon voluntary contributions from the public. Donations may be made by cheque payable to: Addenbrooke's Charities (Sports Injuries) Box 185, Addenbrooke's Hospital Hills Road Cambridge CB2 0QQ
Opening Times Early treatment of sports injuries is extremely important for long-term recovery and rehabilitation. The Peter Wilson Sports Injury Clinic is a 'walk-in' clinic for people with sports injuries that are less than 48 hours old. The "open access" clinic's opening hours are; Monday Wednesday and Friday mornings 09:00- 10:30 during University term times.
Who can attend? Anyone who has injured themselves playing a sport can seek help and advice from the Sports Injury Clinic, at Addenbrooke's. The injury must, however, be less than 48 hours old, and they MUST NOT have been to the Accident & Emergency Department. The clinic is not an Accident & Emergency Service.
