These tips should help you reduce your chances of developing the skin conditions that we know are associated with exposure to the sun:

1. Avoid strong sun, especially between the hours of 1100 - 1500

2. Do not get sun burnt

3. Protect your skin by:

Slip on a shirt

Slap on a hat

Slop on the suntan cream (factor 15 or above)

4. If you have to tan, build up your tan gradually

NB. Get any odd or unusual looking moles checked by your doctor as soon as you notice them.
