Vascular surgery is a subspecialty of general surgery in which diseases of the vascular system, or arteries and veins, are managed, largely via surgical intervention.

Vascular Outpatients Clinic

Three vascular clinics are held each week in Clinic 4 in Outpatients. These are one-stop assessment clinics, with colour duplex ultrasound available to assist rapid diagnosis.

Mr J R Boyle: Varicose veins, peripheral vascular disease

Mr M Gaunt: Varicose veins, carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysm, peripheral vascular disease, lymphoedema

Mr P Hayes: Endovascular stenting of aneurysms, carotid disease, lower limb ischaemia, varicose veins and minimally invasive treatment of hyperhydrosis.
