Helicopter Day

CLIC Sargent organised an outing to a local airfield to fly in a helicopter.

"The Helicopter Day trip was definitely a memorable event. Just the thought of being able to go up in a helicopter or a plane excited me, I felt like a little kid who had just gotten one of his favourite presents. The fact that i managed to go up up in both just blew me away, i just cant explain how great it was and the sites from the air were wonderful. With about 50 - 60 people turning up it was definitely a successful day out for the family."

Harry is the drummer in pop group McFly. In May, he visited wards D9 and C2 at Addenbrooke's.

Jimmy Teen's Oscars

Filmmakers picked up awards for making films about their battle with cancer at the Teenage Cancer Trust’s Oscars night…

Teenage cancer patients at Addenbrooke's Hospital have been making films to express and share their feelings about their experiences in hospital. A professional team of filmmakers, producers, web designers and script editors are on hand to help patients make their films.
