Pemberton House

Pemberton House is a residence primarily for the relatives of patients at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

It has been provided by funds donated by the Trustees of the Addenbrooke's Hospital Recreational Development Trust and the Addenbrooke's Hospital. It is managed by the Frank Lee Centre.

Each room has:

  • A telephone, which you can use to dial within the Hospital and receive calls from inside or outside the Hospital direct. There is also a payphone inside the main entrance to Pemberton House, which you can use to make outside calls.

  • A portable colour television.

  • A take-out/delivery service from Sta's cafe in the Frank Lee Centre.

  • Daily cleaning between 1000 and 1500, with a 'do not disturb' notice facility.

  • A mail service.

In addition:

  • While you are a resident of Pemberton House, you may use the facilities of the Frank Lee Centre, which is normally only available for members and their guests. You may use the swimming pool, fitness classes, bar, social area and Sta's cafe. Patients are not allowed to use these facilities.

  • There are numerous shops and cafes in the concourse of the Hospital and in Outpatients.

  • There is a useful Advice Centre just off the main concourse.

  • There is a microwave oven, ironing board and fridge on the ground floor of Pemberton House.

NB. Pemberton House is a non-smoking area.

 

Car parking:

You may not use the car parking facilities of the Frank Lee; please make alternative arrangements or use the visitors' car parking. The staff of the Frank Lee Centre will be able to advise you about parking.
