Sanctuary Housing Association manages the 577 units of residential accommodation on the Addenbrooke's site, on behalf of Addenbrooke's.

To apply for this accommodation, applicants should approach their line manager, their college tutor or the Medical Staffing Department (doctors only) to arrange for a nomination to be made to Sanctuary Housing Association. Direct applications to Sanctuary Housing Association cannot be accepted for this accommodation.

Grantchester House

In addition, Sanctuary Housing Association has accommodation to let in Grantchester House. This is situated on the Addenbrooke's site and has 214 refurbished rooms, which are divided into 54 flats, each with 4 bedrooms, shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Accommodation in Grantchester House is available to anyone employed on the Addenbrooke's site who earns less than £23,000 per year.

The rent for Grantchester House is £73.87 per week, which is inclusive of water, electricity, heating, hot water, and council tax. A deposit of two weeks' rent is payable at the time of taking up occupation. Tenancies are six-month assured shortholds and four-weeks' notice of intention to vacate is required.
