Support for Addenbrooke’s Arts On September 16, 2009, Andrew Lansley, MP for South Cambridgeshire and Shadow Secretary of State for Health visited addenbrooke’s to unveil a painting donated to the hospital’s Lysosomal Disorders Unit David Howarth, MP for Cambridge toured the hospital arts project on August 21, 2009. Following the tour, Mr Howarth said: "This is a really inspiring project. The diverse range of work using many different techniques brightens up the long corridors and public areas of the hospital. The various different pieces are a talking point and it is encouraging to think that a visit to hospital, which in many cases can be a nerve-wracking and worrying time, could be made a little easier by this project. I wish it every success for the future."
