Level 3 Corridor Collection ![]() A fresh, inspiring collection of new work has been selected by the Addenbrooke’s Arts team and can be found along the level 3 corridor between the theatres and EAU. The new collection is a combination of work created during activities held in the hospital, local artist’s paintings and work on loan from Paintings in Hospitals. We are delighted to have a bright, colourful seaside painting by artist Moira Hazel and a very large painting of St Ives by Elaine Pamphilon.
Earth from the Air ![]() Village on stilts in Tongkil, Samales islands, Philippines A beautiful collection of photographic work is displayed throughout the new Emergency Assesment Unit. The photographs by Yann Arthus-Bertrand formed part of a national touring exhibition in 2005 are taken from a helicopter giving the impression of a birds eye view of the world. Photographs by Gerry Weatherhead ![]() Gerry has put up a long-term photographic exhibition in the Disablement Services Centre waiting area.
Work is for sale and 25% of proceeds will go towards running the Addenbrooke’s Arts programme
Christina Pattison ![]() A collection of watercolour and acrylic paintings by Christina Pattison's can be seen on level 3 corridor towards the new ATC. We also have more of Christina's work along the Outpatient's corridor on level 2. Her paintings are unique and easily recognised, expressing joy, colour and movement. The subject matter is derived from the ordinary and the spiritual that she finds in her homes and surroundings in Sweden, Britain and France.
