If you have been bereaved at Addenbrooke's, Bereavement Care Services is here to help and support you, so do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything you would like to talk through. You can contact us on hospital extension 3769 or via your ward, or through the Bereavement Care Services Office on ext 3537.

Who can help at Addenbrooke's?

• Ward staff are available to help and support you. They can also put you in touch with other support agencies in the hospital.

• The Bereavement Care Services Office is there to help you sort out practical issues after bereavement Tel: 01223 217 537 (or x 3537) E-mail: bereavementcareservices@addenbrookes.nhs.uk.

• The Chaplaincy Team is always available to give support and practical advice Tel: 01223 217 769 (or x 3769); e-mail: chaplaincy@addenbrookes.nhs.uk

• Childrens Services offer support to families Tel: 01223 217 815

• The Rosie staff provide support and advice at all stages of bereavement Tel: 01223 217 619

  You can also get help from your own general practitioner (GP) or perhaps your local minister or faith group leader.

Information for the bereaved:

Bereavement Care Services publish:

• a leaflet 'After Bereavement', which is offered to people who have been bereaved - this has sources of information, advice, and support at Addenbrooke's Hospital,

• a 'Directory of Bereavement Care' in printed folders, CDs and an online version, which can be printed from this website. This is mainly for health and care professionals.

• Useful links about bereavement (including counselling)
