• Completes and returns an application form

On receipt, Voluntary Services Office
checks through the application form.*

Refer Volunteer onto chosen department, arrange start date
with accepted named mentor / line mgr of role

Volunteer works on the department
feeding back to named line manager and/ or the Voluntary
Services Manager. Volunteer is checked regularly by VS department
staff and made welcome on the team.

Any changes to the role or the volunteer
agreement are fed back to the Voluntary Services Manager.
The role is reviewed formally one year on, with continual
informal communication from the Voluntary Services Department.
